Very good food. Fresh, fresh, fresh! Busy though, be prepared to wait during peak hours. Take-out can be called ahead of time.
We have had this take out chicken (Rotisserie) style, with the roasted potatoes, and or french fries at least 30 times. My dear wife Debby will put the chicken parts in a serving dish before our guest arrive, and then claim she made all the dinner, from scratch. The Piri Piri sauce is to die for, I am not kidding, it is addictive, order extra when you do your take out. Order early so you don't getting left out. It keeps well for the next day, but chances are it will go quick.
Good chicken! Bad customer service but good chicken! Terrible Rice - no taste and undercooked but good chicken! Sauce is very expensive. Chicken Breast Sandwich is amazing. Good chicken!
too bad they do not offer a 0 for review. the most
My friend and I went to have dinner the other night, she highly recommended this restaurant and I had never been. Our visit started out ok...until we realized the young lady serving us was not very bright - couldn't even give us the correct change, also, she found it funny to make snarky comments and offend her customers in a subtle but evident way. We shrugged this off and didn't let it ruin the night. The food was pretty good and I had full intentions to go back. It wasn't until we finished our meal and asked the "waitress" for a to-go container that we realized this restaurant has absolutely no customer service and truthfully, I'm not sure how they have survived the 10 years they claim to have been open for. We merely wanted to drizzle some piri - piri sauce on the leftover chicken but that's not allowed - this is what they like to call "the rule". At first we assumed that they were misunderstanding us, but there was no misunderstanding at all. From the waitress to the owner, they are all in agreement that if we wanted the piri-piri sauce, we should have put it on the food before it went in the to-go container. As soon as the leftovers get taken off their plates we need to pay for any extra sauce. Basically we sat in the restaurant and spent a total of $50 on dinner, coffee and dessert but however when it was time to leave we needed to fork out another $.75 to squirt some hot sauce on OUR leftover meal. We were told that the sauce does not grow on trees so we need to pay, also told to go somewhere else to eat next time - among other wonderful things that were said to us. I have never been so disgusted with this type of service and will never be returning, which we made very clear. So save your time and money, frankly your aggravation too - I'm sure there are better restaurants out there that value their clients. Its not about the money but the principle.
“Dry chicken and under cooked hard potatoes”
went to their Bathurst location... ordered two family size combos... after waiting 40 minutes because they ran out of potatoes (which they did not tell me when ordering) i was given my order. when i got home 10 minutes later.. i discovered that the potatoes were still not fully cooked through, the chicken was dry and cold and the rice was also cold. Frustrated, i called the restaurant and was told that there was nothing they can do. Told me that it happens sometime and that i should wrap the potatoes in foil and put in oven for 20 minutes. like wtf.. if i wanted to cook myself.. i would not have went to your place. Lady on the phone hung up while i was voicing my opinion! WORST service.. Food to match.Ill never go back!
